Short videos with an avatar and 3D charts for an accounting firm, and the path after them: niche calculators and a new website.

Overview

Recurring production of roughly 30-second vertical videos for Daniele Guerra Contabilidade, in Rio de Janeiro. The accountant writes or approves every script; the video ships with her avatar and voice, full-screen animated charts and word-by-word captions. Around the videos, I designed and coded four calculators (psychologists, health professionals, sole traders and companies) and a website prototype that brings them together.

The problem

A small accounting firm needs to show up on social media every week, but the accountant has no time to record. And video alone doesn't bring clients: viewers need a next step other than "message me on WhatsApp".

My role

Everything from production script to publishing: text adaptation, avatar and voice generation, charts, captions, editing, calculators, website prototype and planning.

The outcome

16 scripts taken to final video under a single production standard, plus 4 niche calculators and a website prototype published for client review.

01

The problem

Accounting is a service people hire on trust, and trust needs a face and consistency. Recording every week didn't fit the accountant's routine. The answer was an avatar of her, with her voice, speaking scripts she approves herself. The second problem came later: the videos ended with "message me on WhatsApp", which asks a lot from someone who has just met the firm. An intermediate step was missing, one where people could see their own case before talking.

02

The videos

Six of the final videos (in Portuguese). The first four each address a niche and have a matching calculator; the last two belong to the series for business owners in general.

Psychologists: self-employed tax or a company?
Health professionals: social security paid above the cap
Sole traders: the tax-regime deadline was extended
Companies: a cash reserve is not a luxury
Invoices are not red tape

How each video is made

In numbers

16scripts taken to final video

4calculators, one per niche

From video to contact

Each calculator answers the video's question with the viewer's own numbers: what a psychologist pays as an individual versus as a company, how much social security a health professional paid above the cap, whether a sole trader is at risk of exclusion, how many months a company's cash can last. At the end, the button opens WhatsApp with the result already written in the message, so the conversation starts from the case, not from "hi". They are static pages with no server, designed mobile first. Calculation rules are documented with the source for each, and the screen says so when the answer doesn't favor hiring the firm: if staying an individual is cheaper, that's what it shows.
